This pelleted Mazuri emu diet is a high-fiber, balanced-protein emu feed that offers complete nutrition. It's specifically formulated to help address obesity concerns. This diet also contains vitamins known to be required by birds with no supplementation necessary. The natural preserved formula is mixed with tocopherols and no ethoxyquin. Includes 50 lb. of emu food. Made in USA.

Feed free choice to emu selected for breeding.
- From 6 8 months of age (about 70 90 lbs. or 31.8 40.8 kg. body weight) until 2 weeks prior to the start of breeding season.
- Two weeks prior to breeding season, transition birds to Mazuri Ratite Breeder Diet.
- Transition animals back to Mazuri Emu Maintenance Diet towards the end of the breeding season to accommodate for the large increase in feed consumption that occurs at this time.
- Supplement high producing birds with calcium (using oyster shell) based on the level of egg production during the breeding season.
- Thoroughly wash feed and water bowls on a regular basis. It is always good practice to wash hands thoroughly after feeding and/or handling animals.
- This diet is not for human consumption.
- Storage Conditions: For best results, store contents of open bag in container with sealing lids. Store in a cool (75F or colder), dry (approximately 50% RH) location. Use within 1 year of bag manufacturing.
Always transition to new diets slowly, over a 7-10 day period.
