Maternal heartbeat speeds vary between breed sizes. Our Mother's Heartbeat devices are based on estimated heartbeats of the breed of the parents and puppy. The included device installs into the pocket at the front of the crate pad. The water-resistant crate pad has all of the same features as the fleece version, however it comes in a water-resistant polyester fabric. This fabric's water-resistant feature can help come in handy for accidental wetting in the crate.
