Not satisfied with your purchase and need to return it? No problem! Our ultimate goal is to make your return experience as quick and easy as possible. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, and we are committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure you enjoy your purchase and your experience with Tractor Supply Company. Shopping and returning is easy with Tractor Supply. Most online purchases can be initiated online. If it's more convenient for you, bring your return back to the store.

30 Day Return Policy (top)

Whether you made your purchase in a Tractor Supply store or online, if you're not completely satisfied with any item you purchased from Tractor Supply, return it to us with proof of purchase within 30 days from the purchase date to exchange or return an item at its original purchase price. All returns require a proof of purchase in order to accurately refund your original purchase price.

Proof of Purchase (top)

For store purchases, the cash register receipt serves as a proof of purchase for items bought at your local Tractor Supply store.
Store returns without proof of purchase or after 30 days from purchase date REQUIRE MANAGER APPROVAL. Approved returns without a receipt require a valid State or Federal ID. If approved, the item will be returned for the current item price and any refund will be issued in the form of a Merchandise Return card. Approved returns with a receipt after 30 days from purchase date will be refunded as described in the Refunds section.

For items purchased online, the order confirmation e-mail or shipment confirmation email will serve as proof of purchase.

If you do not have proof of purchase, you can click here to contact the Customer Solutions Center to request a copy of your Order Confirmation or Receipt to be e-mailed.

Refunds 

Refunds for items returned to your local Tractor Supply store are made by crediting the original method of payment if proof of purchase is provided; in some cases a store-only Merchandise Return card or Check** will be issued.

Refunds for items returned online will be refunded based on the chart below.

Refund Exceptions

For online purchases that are returned in either a Tractor Supply store or through the Online Returns Center; original shipping fees are not refunded except due to a shipping error, shipping damage or manufacturer defect.

Tractor Supply gift cards cannot be returned or redeemed for cash or credit except where required by law.

Items acquired through a "FREE" promotion at Tractor Supply cannot be refunded.

Toro White Glove Delivery – Shipping charges will not be refunded upon return of White Glove Delivered zero turn tractors in store or online.

Returns FAQs

Where Can I Return My Purchase? (top)

You can initiate your return online or bring it into any Tractor Supply Store.

In store: 

  • Take your purchase back to any Tractor Supply store for an immediate refund or exchange it for something else within 30 days of your original purchase.
  • Please bring your order confirmation and valid I.D. to accurately refund your original purchase price.

Online:

Online returns are easy! Simply click on the Orders button on the top of the site.

If you're a registered user, log in, go the "order history" page,  and click the "Returns" button next to the order that contains the items you want to return.

Not a registered user? Enter your order details on the order lookup page, and then click on the "Returns" button to initiate the returns process.

Once you've clicked "Returns" within the order that contains the items you would like to return, select the item(s) you would like to return.

Be sure to select the item, quantity, reason for return, and provide any additional comments.

Next, simply choose whether you would like to bring your return into a store or if you would like to ship your return back and click "Submit".

If you are shipping your item:

  • Parcel: Please print off the return label and drop off your item at any UPS location.
  • Truck Delivery: You will be contacted by delivery company to arrange pickup.

You can refer to your order details page to monitor the status of your return.

If you are bringing the returned item to the store: Great! We can't wait to see you! 

  • Take your purchase back to any Tractor Supply store for an immediate refund or exchange it for something else within 30 days of your original purchase.
  • Please bring your order confirmation and valid I.D. to accurately refund your original purchase price.

Each live good may have unique return instructions. Please refer to your email communication or the product page for specific details.

What do I do when my order is damaged or missing parts? (top)

If an order arrives damaged or is missing parts, contact your local Tractor Supply Store our Customer Support Center at 877-718-6750 within 30 days of delivery for resolution.

Can I return something I received as a gift? (top)

Please visit your local Tractor Supply Store to return gift purchases. Refunds for gift purchases will be issued in the form of a Tractor Supply gift card when returned to store.

Can I exchange my order? (top)

If you would like to make an exchange please come visit us in any one of our Tractor Supply stores. 

How long does my return take? (top)

In store returns will be processed immediately and the time it takes for the credit to show is dependent on your bank's processing time.

If you're shipping your return back please allow 48 hours processing time upon receipt of your return.

Are there any return exceptions? (top)

  • Shipping Restrictions - Items that have shipping restrictions can only be returned in store. This may include batteries, oil, etc.
  • PayPal - Any orders using PayPal and returned online will be refunded to the PayPal account.
  • Gift Cards - If a gift card(s) was used as the form of payment an e-Gift card will be issued to the purchaser or a gift card will be issued in store.
  • Live Goods - Each live good may have unique return instructions. Please refer to your email communication or the product page for specific details.

What happens if I don't pick up my Ship-to-Store order? (top)

Ship-to-Store online orders that are unclaimed within 45 days of the order date will be automatically returned and refunded to the original credit card used to place the order. Any portion paid for by Tractor Supply gift card will be refunded via an eGift card.
